Jessie Brown Obituary (2010) - The Augusta Chronicle (legacy.com) AUGUSTA, Ga. - Mrs. Jessie Mae (Dixon) Brown, wife of the late Deacon David C. Brown, entered into rest on Thursday, November 18, 2010, at Medical College of Georgia. Mrs. Brown is the mother of Mr. Collis O. Brown and Mrs. Sherrlyn W. Brown Jones; grandmother of Dr. Darigg C. Brown, Jessica L. Ligon and Dawn Carlette Jones; great-grandmother of Madison Chelsea Ligon. She was a longtime member of First Shiloh Baptist Church. The family will receive friends Sunday, November 21, 2010, from 5 to 7 pm at the funeral home.
